An injection or compression mould, to produce a thermoplastic or rubber lip-type sealing ring consisting of a core part and a one-piece sealing lip where the material contains reinforcing particles in the core part, has >=1 runner which opens into the mould cavity for the core. The cavity is connected to the sealing lip by an annular gap whose greatest width is still smaller than the min. size of the reinforcing particles. The simple deisgn of the mould produces unfilled sealing lip.
