Aerial firing practice target - has metal coating for radar beam reflection on trailing sack fabric

The aerial firing practice target is a sack towed by an aircraft. This target is used for radar controlled or assisted antiaircraft weapons. The sack is made from fabric consisting of metallic materials and of natural or synthetic nonmetallic materials. The sack has good radar reflectivity in all radar frequency bands. It is compact and of low weight, has high strength and it does not collapse after being hit. The metallic component of the trailing sack (1) is a homogeneous coat on the fabric or on a coating layer. The polyamide woven fabric is coated with plastics layer and on this is places aluminium foil. The cylindrical sack has a square bottom plate (5) leaving air escape slots.
