Domestic kitchen hob and oven - has remote control from hand held ultrasonic control panel

The kitchen unit has a hob (1) with separate hot plates (2, 3) and two oven compartments (5, 6) mounted independently to the side of the hub. A control panel (4) is fixed to the wall behind the worktop of the unit. The control panel has sections (7) for each of the hot plates and ovens with push buttons for step control. It also has indicators (10) for each component and an ultra sonic microphone (8) to detect signals from a remote source. A hand held controller has similar push button arrays for each hot plate and oven and emits ultra sonic tones which operate the wall mounted controller.
