The description is the same as that of the parent but the claim is directed to apparatus for providing a non-linear indication of the ratio between the electrical resistances of two resistors at least one of which is variable, which includes a Wheatstone bridge including the resistors therein, a voltage divider connected across the output of the bridge, a power supply connected to energise the bridge and having a feedback voltage derived through a feedback line from a pre-selected point on the voltage divider, the output of the power supply being variable in response to the feedback voltage to maintain the feedback voltage at a substantially constant value, and indicating means responsive to the output of the bridge. |
