<p>The buckle for the safety belt of a vehicle consists of a fixed part (2) joined to the extremity of one belt, and a rotating part (4) mounted on it. The tongue (5) joined to the extremity of the extremity of the other belt is engaged between the fixed and rotating parts and held by a bolt (6) mounted between these parts. The bolt is held in the locked position by a spring (24). On the internal face of the rotating part there is an inclined ramp (19) which, under the effect of rotation, acts on the bolt, against a hair pin spring (27) to free the belt.</p> |
