<p>The upper layer of a liquid in a reservoir is removed by a flow of gate comprising a trough with an evacuation pipe in the bottom. The trough is lowered vertically in the reservoir. a trough (2) in a reservoir (1) containing a level (24) of liquid is attached to supports connected to articulated arms (4, 5) which are attached to the reservoir supports. Cables (9) attached to the trough supports are attached to a carrier (10). a stirrup (12) with a shaft (14) joins the carrier to a disc (15) driven by a motor through a gearbox. A switch operated by a float (19) on the trough enables the motor to lower the trough to the liquid level where a programme commences allowing the disc to pivot the trough.</p> |
