Torque revolution rate characteristic measurement for brake controls - using holder connected to spring producing counter torque and transducer measuring spring deformation

Measuring appts. is for the torque-revolution rate characteristic of aircraft brake controls with brake cylinders and counterbalances, in partic. for remote dial switches. Exact measurement of the control characteristic is given as well as determination of the working region. The brake cylinder of the controller is placed in a holder w.r.t. which it cannot rotate. It is connected to a spring which produces a counter torque to oppose any holder swivelling caused by the counterweight. A transducer measures the torque from the spring deformation. A motor sets the counterweight in motion and its revolution rate is determined using a measurement device.
