The device (21 to 36) regulates the air supply to the sauna oven (10) located inside the sauna cabin and in which the air to be heated is supplied from the bottom and emerges into the sauna cabin at the top end after heating. The device (21 to 36) comprises a fresh air supply channel (22) which can be connected to the ambient air outside the sauna cabin and an air supply channel (23) which is open toward the sauna cabin. The cross-sections of the two channels (22 and 23) can each be regulated with an adjustable air flap (24 and 25, respectively). As a result, the heated air which leaves the sauna oven (10) at the top can re-enter the sauna oven (10) at the bottom through the second air supply channel (23) in order to be heated further, so that the energy consumption of the sauna oven is reduced and the costs for heating can be lowered. In this way the sauna cabin can be quickly heated. The adjustable air flaps (24, 25) can be used to adapt the supply of fresh air to the number of individuals present in the sauna cabin. <IMAGE>
