Community antenna system with central station - having at least one connecting glass fibre to each subscriber and return channel

The community antenna system has a central station distribution t.v., radio or service programmes. A number of subscriber stations is connected to the central station. At least one connecting line in the form of a glass-fibre runs from the central station to each subscriber, a return channel being provided. Connecting lines can be connected in the central station by a video switching panel to signal lines delivering various programmes. The channel selector (12) is assigned to the h.f. sector (11) having v.h.f. and v.h.f. inputs. This sector (11) is connected in series with the i.f. sector (13), the demodulator (14) and the image and sound separator (15) branching off to the image (16) and sound (17) sectors.
