Interlocking building blocks for main structure - with protrusions, recesses, and grooves for walls and floor and roof beams

The building component assembly is used in erection of an unfinished building with blocks form-locked together, and fixed by adhesive, and floor-ceilings made as wooden beam ceilings statically united with the walls. The object is to use as few different types of block as possible, and to enable windows, doors and ceilings to be installed without skilled labour. The interlocking protrusions (3,4) on the building blocks (1,8) extend over part of a horizontal surface determining the smallest divisional unit of the block (1). There is a full-height channel (5) in the area of each protrusion. The side of the block away from the protrusions incorporates one or more corresponding recesses (6,7). Only two types of standard block are needed, for load bearing and for non-load bearing walls, with the part blocks easily cut from these.
