The bath or combined shower and bath partition wall has several fixed panels and sliding doors. The latter slide horizontally in planes parallel to the fixed panels. The sliding doors are moved on overhead rails. The overhead rail profile can be used for wall-to-wall partitions and also for partition walls with corners. The overhead rail (5) cross section has on its lower end downwards open U-shaped clamping channels (15,16,17) for holding the fixed wall panels (3). The upper region has an enclosed hollow space (20) for accommodating inserted connection bracket angles. The guide rail has a lower rail (22) and upper rib (23). The V-grooved guide rollers (24) of the sliding doors (4) move along these guide rails. An opening is provided for accommodating additional support and guide rails.
