The catalyst may have the empirical formula Sb 1-10 Sn 1-10 W 0À01-5 Cu 0À01-5 Te 0À01-5 O x . The catalyst may be prepared by dispersing antimony trioxide in aqueous nitric acid, adding powdered tin, washing, adding copper nitrate and tungsten trioxide, precipitating copper as hydroxide with ammonia, mixing tellurium oxide in the precipitate, pelleting or extrusion and heat treatment in air. |
