The door leaf (19), pivotable by means of weight-loaded ropes, opens automatically, as soon as the bolt retaining the door leaf in its closed position is opened. As a result of the invention, there is no longer any need for subsequent manual closing, since a motor drive is provided for this purpose. A change-pole motor (2) is arranged on the door frame or door lintel (18). It drives, via a coupling (4, 7) opening automatically when the motor stops, a drum (8, 9) which winds up a pull member, for example a band (17), in order to close the door.
