<p>The multicolour offset printer for sheets allows changeover for printing on the reverse side, or applying additional colours using double eccentrics. One of the eccentrics controls the setting while the other one adjusts the contact pressure of the cylinders. The sheets are fed from a stack to the table (2) and grippers (3) feed them singly to the cylinder (4) for passing to the impression cylinder (5) of the first station. There is also a blanket cylinder (6) and plate cylinder (7), as well as an inking unit (8) and dampening unit (9). Similar assemblies are in the other two stations, with the sheets conveyed by transfer cylinders (18-21). The output of the impression cylinder (25) in the last stage is delivered by a cylinder (28) which transfers the sheets to a chain conveyor (29).</p> |
