<p>PURPOSE:To control wasteful power consumption and to prevent the operation of a terminal equipment by means of an unspecified person by controlling the display function of the terminal equipment by means of three specified modes by the command of a host computer. CONSTITUTION:The image-forming part 15 of a laser imager 11 being the terminal equipment which operates based on an instruction from the host computer 10 is connected to the host computer 10 which collectively controls the action of the laser imager 11. A display function is set to operate only when a system is set to a mode '1' and an operator is present nearby, or the display function is set to be always in an action state in spite of a detection signal from an infrared ray sensor 30 by setting the system in a mode '2' or the display function is set to operate only by the operator who knows the operation of a special key by setting the system to a mode '3'. Thus, the power of the terminal equipment can be saved, if necessary and the operation of the terminal equipment by the unspecified operator can be prevented.</p> |
