The tap comprises a thermostatic head (2) regulated by a control knob (8). The head comprises a base (7) and on this base a cylindrical wall (14) having a circular groove (36) at its upper part, (36) which delimits an external wall (38) and an internal wall (39). Two parallel strips (44) which conduct electricity are fastened into the recess (40): these strips extend over practically the entire perimeter of the groove (36). The strips (44) and wiper (46) assembly forms a potentiometer, having maximum resistance when the wiper (46) is opposite the ends of the strips (44) at which the wires (45) start. The tap can be used particularly for separately evaluating the charges for users of a central heating system.
