<p>A vector generator for cathode ray tube displays in which capacitors adapted to be coupled to the X and Y deflection inputs respectively of the cathode ray tube are linearly charged through respective diode bridges from current sources whose output currents are controlled in accordance with the X and Y vector drawing rates required to provide a uniform drawing speed for all vector angles. The end position coordinates of the vectors are provided from digital-to-analog converters to the respective diode bridges and the capacitors are charged from the current sources until the voltages on the capacitors equal the voltages provided from the position digital-to-analog converters respectively.</p> |
