<p>PURPOSE:To obtain fusing performance same as that under normal condition even when heating wire shorts by a method wherein constant electric power is maintained by controlling voltage and/or current throughout the period ranging from the start and end of energizing. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 6 calculates power on the basis of voltage measured with voltage measuring means 4 and current measured with current measuring means 3 so as to compare with initial power stored in a memory 7 in order to control voltage controlling means 2 to lower voltage when the calculated power is higher than the initial power or raise voltage when the calculated power is lower than the initial power. Simultaneously with the start of energizing, a time 8 is put into actuation in order to compare the power, which has been calculated until energizing times out, with the initial power. The time necessary for fusing is set in accordance with the kind of joint 1. As described above, the power is kept constant.</p> |
