A venetian blind or shutter is fitted between the glass to allow rear vision for the driver, and prevents the vehicle interior becoming too hot. Existing designs require the shutter to be mounted in a special frame which is relatively difficult and expensive. This provides reduced weight and reduced cost obtained from ease of manufacture. The shutter (5) is designed as a single unit with the louvres (6) between transparent zones (7). The shutter (5) is kept under tension and at a clearance from the two glass screens.
