<p>The automatic electric coffee filter unit is designed to fit onto any coffee jug, thermos flask or the like and basically comprises from top to bottom a cold water container (1), a housing (21) for the electrical items and a filter housing (23). The hot water which is required to brew the coffee (or tea) is thus produced in the filter itself. The cold water container (1) has a base (5) which tapers down towards the outlet pipe (4) and has in the centre with a riser pipe (6). The through-flow heater (8) and bimetal switch (9) are located in the housing (21) which is mounted directly beneath the cold water container and detachably attached thereto by screw connection.</p> |
