An articulated joint as described in Specification No. 1413,626, including a ball member 3a and a seating 4 therefor with an automatic greasing device consisting of a communication passage 9 between the grease reservoir chamber 8 and the region 5a, adjacent the aperture in the seating, is modified by providing a non-return valve 16 which opens in the direction to provide movement of grease from the reservoir towards the region 5a, in the passage 9. The communication passage may be bored through the casing 5 or, as shown in Fig. 2, through the ball member. |
