<p>The method of energising a hovercraft vehicle with a rotating support mechanism and propulsion system is driven by one main engine. When the main engine speed increases the support only is driven. Above a certain engine speed the support equipment runs at constant speed. There are three pumps connected to the engine and one hydraulic motor driving the support equipment and two driving the propulsion equipment. In addition, there are two position distributors to the propulsion motors and a fluid reservoir. These distributors are acted on by engine speed, automatically to bring the propulsion motor to constant speed, once the engine speed has reached a given value.</p> |
