<p>The pole enables a single person to apply cladding to a ceiling, and has a tripod and springs to make it free-standing. The tripod slides in a tube against the action of a coil spring, and the tube accommodates a strut of the desired width, to which a further tube is fixed, accommodating a cladding support plate.
