<p>The system contains a first and second conductor, a first battery which is fitted between the conductors, a series circuit with a second battery, a starter contact and a starter motor. a first and second batteries are switched in series with the starter motor when the contact is closed, whilst a potential doubler so connects the alternator to the second battery that the potential doubler charges both the first and second batteries in series.</p> |
