<p>An electronic control circuit which is used to control the ignition timing of an I.C. engine. The ignition period is proportional to a leading control voltage. The circuit is independent of noise pick-up and there is no time delay in the operation. It consists of a module (10) which produces a signal which is a function of the angular displacement of the crankshaft. There is a second module (16) which integrates a leading control voltage depending on the first signal. It then integrates a subsequent constant voltage with a polarity opposite to that of the leading control voltage. This is a function of a second signal, producing an output which is compared in a third module (18) with a reference voltage. The output will represent a technician timing signal when it reaches a given level.</p> |
