1376612 Temperature indicators J TRICOIRE 19 Oct 1971 [20 Oct 1970] 30958/74 Divided out of 1376611 Heading G1D [Also in Division G2] In a thermographic recording device, a thermographic sheet, e.g. supported in a frame 17, is removably secured to one end of an arm 20, and a camera 27 is mounted on the arm at 25, 26 at an adjustable distance from, and directed towards, the sheet. As particularly described, the thermographic sheet is of the type to which Specification 1376611 relates, comprising heat-sensitive cholesteric liquid crystal material. A flash lamp 28 is provided on the camera, and the surface of the sheet is preferably matt or dull to reduce undesired reflections. In an alternative embodiment Fig.7 (not shown) the sheet is flexible and secured at its edges to a rigid transparent plate, the arm 20 being removably secured to the other side of the plate. By inflation the sheet may be applied to shaped surfaces and viewed via the transparent plate. |
