<p>The wedding ring engraving machine has a pantograph (4) with a tracing point (6) to follow a flat template (7) an engraving tool on an arm (18), and a ring support (9) mounted on a right angle block (8a,8b) which can be moved in two directions. This is connected to the pantograph so that its movement is synchronised with the tracing point. The vertical arm (8a) of the ring support carries a divider plate (9) so that the ring can be positioned at any required angle by rotating about a horizontal axis. The horizontal arm (8b) is mounted on a cross slide (10) for movement in two directions at right angles. The vertical arm (8a) carries a vertical rod (22) which fits into a sliding block (23) forming part of the pantograph.</p> |
