The power-driven screwdriver has a driving shaft with head, the latter being equipped with a central protrusion and an elastic holder for the screw. The screw can in particular be used with screws having a slot with a central hole formed in it, wider and deeper than the slot. The compact electric drive motor transmits force via an intermediate drive spindle which is exchangeable and has a recess and aperture for connecting purposes.
