1323754 Separation of fructose from the glucose of invert sugar SUOMEN SOKERI OSAKEYHTIO 4 Aug 1970 [13 Aug 1969] 37649/70 Heading C2C A process for separating fructose from glucose of invert sugar comprises passing an aqueous solution of invert sugar containing fructose and glucose and water through a column which contains, submerged in water, cation exchange resin salt, collecting a return fraction, between collecting a glucose fraction and a fructose fraction, for diluting the invert sugar solution to be supplied, the dry material content of which is not higher than 35% by wt. as calculated from the invert sugar supplied, the invert sugar solution being supplied into the column having a dry material content of from 25 to 55% by weight and a flow rate of from 0À2 to 1À5 cubic metres per hour and per square metre of the cross-section of the resin column, and the height of the resin in the column being from 2À5 to 5 m. |
