Dental articulator for model preparation - has outrigger on pivoting shaft and slotted guide disc

The dental articulator is used in preparation of dental models which can simulate jaw movements. Both adjustable frame sections are mounted in horizontal slots (70) in one of the guide discs (18) mounted or supported on the intermediate plate (16). The arm (20) of the articulator bracket has a pivoting shaft (22) which engages in the longitudinal holes (70) at both its ends and carries ball bearings (74) which run in and along the guide tracks. An arrester hook (80) is attached to the end of the guide disc (18) for normal positioning.
