Shingle board for building roof - has slate tiles glued to board surface before attachment to roof beams in overlapping position

The shingle board is for the roof of a building and comprises a series of small rectangular slate tiles which are secured to a large rectangular support board. The board is manufactured from a waterproof material or wood treated to repel moisture. The tiles are attached to the support by a resin glue and are laid one against the other the length of the board. The shingle board is cut so that the length and breadth are marginally smaller than the surface dimensions of the tiles one secured to the roof one overlapping the other.
