<p>The fireproof sliding door drive consists of a pressureless vessel, a pump with drive motor, solenoid valves and power cylinder (16). The door is fitted with rollers running on a rail, parallel to the piston rod (11) of the power cylinder (6), which consists of concentric tubes (12,13). One tube (12) contains the piston (14) and rod (11), and the other (13) contains a ring piston (15). The cylinder (12) is filled on both sides with hydraulic fluid through a pump connection (16) and a valve (17). The outer tube (13) is filled with a gas on one side of the ring piston, and with hydraulic fluid on the other. The piston (14) travels from one terminal position to the other, and fluid enters between the cylinders. Ring piston (15) moves, compressing the gas. The door remains open as long as the operating switch is thrown into "off" position.</p> |
