The cargo room (10) of a truck has a vertical panel (36) which is located by horizontal guide rails (43). A gear motor (48) located between the front wall (14) of the cargo room and the movable panel (36), provides the driving power required to push a load out of the cargo hold by means of the panel (36). By placing a load on a loading bay, the movable panel (36) can be used to pull the load into the cargo room (10). An auxiliary panel at the rear end of the load is attached to the movable panel (36) by means of chains. Since the load is placed on a roller track, it is possible to pull it into the truck.
