<p>A pneumatic to hydraulic converter for a hydraulically operated brake system having first fluid motor, a spring applied fluid released motor means, and a master hydraulic cylinder is disclosed. The converter is responsive to positive variations in fluid pressure to actuate the a first fluid motor means and the hydraulic cylinder. The spring motor means is responsive to reductions in fluid pressure in said second fluid motor to actuate the hydraulic master cylinder. A service brake application is made by pressurizing the first fluid motor means, while a parking brake application is made by venting the second fluid motor means.</p> |
