Appts. for wet treatment of textile webs. e.g. knitted or non-woven goods, comprises a liquid tank in which is submerged a permeable screen drum through which the liquid flows, and with which is directly associated a permeable suction drum with a perforated wall surface of max. area and with at least one narrow suction zone. A blow pipe is directed from the exterior onto the suction drum in the region covered by the textile web. Pref. the suction drum is subjected to full suction in the narrow zone, throttled suction at all in the area covered by the textile web, and no suction at all in the area which is not covered by the web but which is covered by a cover. No longitudinal traction occurs during dewatering, even in textiles which are extremely sensitive to distortion. |
