<p>The mechanism is for loading rubbish, particularly domestic, into a collector vessel. It has a filling funnel, a shredder and a conveyor combined together in a unit and mounted in a portable housing, equipped with a loading hatchway closed by a door. The conveyor is inclined upwards from the shredder outlet, and extends from the side of the housing above the collector vessel which is placed in position alongside. It can be of the auger type, ending at a set distance before the discharge end of its casing. The drives to the shredder and auger can be controlled by switches actuated by the loading door.</p> |
