<p>The system is for the loading and unloading of containers preferably with pallet-type floors, the layers of the load being separated by plates fitting in the sidewalls. With the aid of supports (11) inserted through openings in the floor a plate (12) is first brought to the same height as a feed mechanism for the items, alongside the container. The plate is then lowered by the supports until the tops of the items on it are at the same height as the feed mechanism, after which a plate is placed on top of them and a further layer of items thrust onto it. The process is repeated until the container is fully loaded, and unloading is carried out in the reverse order.</p> |
