<p>The slabs are designed for ease of placing, requiring sliding into place in one direction only, and are rectangular in plan, lateral side edges fitting together by means of tongues and grooves in opposed edges. The vertical edges have overlapping rebated joints with two steps (4, 5,6,) between inner and outer roof planes. The first step (6) is square and the second (5) is elongated and sloping upwards. Insulation and heat transfer is enhanced by employing normal or diagonally oriented grooved grids on the major surfaces. The inclined upper face of the second step is inclined with respect both to the horizontal and surfaces. The tonques (9) have drainage grooves (12) in their inner corners.</p> |
