Pneumatic tyre vulcanising press having a mould composed of radially movable segments and upper and lower vertically movable plates is provided with a frustoconical sleeve for radial displacement of the segments when the plates are moved vertically by interconnected linkage. Mould is opened and closed by simple action of a pneumatic cylinder through associated simple linkage.
