<p>Method for mfg. a reinforced plastic receptacle e.g. silo, tank, vat, etc., is carried out by forming several tubes by winding thread cores coated with polymerisable resin. After poll it axially along a generatrix, then assembled so as to obtain a tubular element with the desired perimeter. Pref. the assembly zones are reinforced with sized reinforcements, and the final shape of the receptacle is provided by collars adhered to the edges of the tubular element. Alternatively, the reinforcements may be moulded during primary winding of the tubes, or end members for closing the receptacle may be moulded into the assembled receptacle. The method allows mfr. of the receptacle without the use of mandrels.</p> |
