The frame is for the vertical and horizontal movement of a fork-lift truck having a forked base with wheels and a lifting fork sliding in a vertical frame and controlled from the rear. Tilting supports (112) are provided, pivoting (30) on the lifting fork (105), and swinging downwards into a position in which they are lockable. The truck can travel horizontally when supported, either by the lifting fork or by the tilting supports. The latter can comprise a pair of bars swinging downwards, with wheels (32) at their lower ends, and can have at the top horizontal arms, at whose ends the pivot mountings are situated.
