Theluminous diode for the blown fuse indication is directly or indirectly parallel-connected to the fuse. The increase of the voltage drop across the fuse after its blosing triggers a current flow through the diode, which emits light as an indication of the blown fuse. Preferably the diode (4) is connected between the two current supply terminals in series with a transistor (3) and possibly a register (5). A voltage divider (8, 9) is in parallel to the load (11), and its dividing point (10) is coupled to the transistor base. With the fuse (7) in sound order, the transistor is blocked, but conducts if the fuse has been blown. This conductivity permits a current flow through the luminous diode.
