Articulated welding machine connector - with hinged clevis and tenon joints and adequate spring loaded contact surfaces in joints

An articulated connector for electric welding machines includes hinged links which connect the terminations from the supply and to the welding tool. Each link can also be swivelled in a plane at right angles to the hinge plane. The contact areas in both hinged and swivelling junctions is at least equal to the cross-section of the current conductor terminations. This prevents the fracture of flexible braided copper cables by fatigue. The free flexibility of the welding tool is ensured even for limited space conditions like in transfer lines.
