1474740 Producing deacetoxycephalosporin C TAKEDA YAKUHIN KOGYO KK 14 June 1974 [16 June 1973 8 Oct 1973 16 Jan 1974] 26479/74 Heading C2C Deacetoxycephalosporin C (DACPC) is produced by cultivating a microorganism which belongs to the genus Streptomyces, Cephalosporium, Emericellopsis, Paecilomyces, Anixiopsis, Arachnomyces or Spiroidium and is capable of producing DACPC in a culture medium until DACPC is substantially accumulated in the culture medium and recovering DACPC therefrom the culture medium comprising an assimilable carbon source and a digestible nitrogen source and, when the microorganism belongs to the genus Paecilomyces, the culture medium also comprises cysteine and/or cystine or, when the microorganism belongs to Cephalosporium or Emericellopsis, the medium also comprises methionine.
