<p>The frying pan is designed to accommodate the regular filtering of cooking oils. An open-fire pedestal with temperature controls, and a condenser type vapour extractor are also incorporated. The pan may include a frying basket, and the geometry of the combination be such that the pan volume may be swept by rotation of the basket about a horizontal axis. The basket is fitted with a screen in order to carry out the filtering operation. A 180 deg. rotation of the basket then lifts the oil into a position above that occupied during cooking. The oil passes through the screen (20) to return below and be filtered in the process.</p> |
