<p>The control unit for forklift trucks, particularly the freely-movable type, having a lifting slide whose movement up and down the mast is controlled by a preselector unit to place and extract loads at particular heights. The unit is coupled to a spring strip winding and unwinding between two drums with the slide movement, and with two marks at each of the heights concerned for a loaded and unloaded slide. The lifting forks have a feeler switch transmitting signals to the unit dependent on whether they are loaded or unloaded. The spring strip (36) with the markings rolls up under its own tension, winding off the first and idler drum (34) and onto the second drum (35) with the same direction of rotation.</p> |
