A lug template in which a plurality of lugs are rotatably mounted to a flexible template wherein each lug may be individually and substantially deflected out of the normal plane of the template without substantially deflecting the remaining lugs and further in which the template may be limitedly deformed in its normal plane to slightly increase the effective distance between given lugs.
