Foamed plastics components mixing head having a cylindrical mixing chamber in which is located an axially slidable plunger for expulsion of the foamed mixt. of two components supplied through radial bores is provided with inlets which are formed in the chamber wall between the outlet and the bores, the inlets being connectible to compressed air for blowing air into the chamber. Used for injecting foamed polyol and isocyanate into spaces during packaging. Mixing head can be operated at low pressures of =20 atmos. as against 100 atmos. and flushing of head is dispensed with.
