<p>Bulbous vegetables, esp. onions are arranged in one attitude, the top and tail are then removed by saws. A cut is made near the widest section and a second cut across the first. A rubbing force is then applied to the skin. The vegetables are marked only in the region of the cuts and only the skin is removed, with none of the flesh.</p> |
