The object, e.g. a screw or a screw nut, has two thread types, e.g. a Whitworth thread or a metric thread, cut one on top of the other. The two threads are produced such that a first thread type is cut on a blank with cylindrical wall, and that a second thread type is cut thereon over the first thread. A nut with a thread of the first or the second type, for example, may thus be used with such an object, e.g. a screw bolt. |
